Human Resources Manager – Asia Pacific
Position Description:
Directs and coordinates human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, employee relations, benefits, training, safety, immigration, and employee services by performing the following duties.
Major Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Analyzes wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plan.
Consults legal counsel to ensure that policies and practices comply with appropriate country employment laws.
Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions.
Provide counseling and support for career/professional growth for employees.
Administration of HR duties across the Asia Pacific region including China and India.
Deliver management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment.
Advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues and other Human Resources issues, as necessary.
Responds to inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
Administers performance management program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization. Administers salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within organization.
Oversee administration of benefits programs such as life, health, and dental insurance, pension/401K plans, PTO, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
Oversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.
Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions, and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Studies legislation, arbitration decisions to assess industry trends.
Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.
Represents organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.
Contracts with outside suppliers to provide employee services, such as temporary employees, search firms, as necessary
Participate in Group-wide initiatives
Supervisory Responsibilities
Provides management direction and counseling. Supervises HR team members if applicable.

Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or seven years of related experience with at least 2 years in management capacity; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Seven year of related experience with at least 2 years in management capacity.
